Blogging from A to Z challenge? I accept!

My back is hunched from the weight on my shoulders. hehehe! I’m about to try something new and I can already feel the pressure bearing down. :? lol!

I’ve signed myself up for an A to Z blogging challenge next month! Basically, the idea is to blog for 26 days using each letter of the alphabet as a blogging topic. That’s it! You can blog about whatever you wish, the only requirement is that each day has a corresponding letter and your post topic must start with that letter.

Whew! As many of you know, my current blogging schedule consists of only two to three days a week! So, yeah, pumping up the schedule means stretching my creative muscles and stepping outside my comfort zone a bit. It’s not called a challenge for nothing! lol!

So, while the challenge doesn’t start until April, I’ll be using the month of March to prepare and plot out my topics. All 26 of them! I already have an idea for E, hehehe! E is for EXCERPT… hmm, what kind of excerpt could I possibly share? hehehe! Yeah! That’s right! I get to reveal an excerpt from TIDAL WHISPERS! But — you have to wait until April. :(

Don’t worry, I won’t leave you hanging like that, hehehe! March is also an exciting time because J.Taylor Publishing has some cool things for us to giveaway soon! That’s right! GIVEAWAY! I’ve made some updates by adding a countdown clock in the sidebar so everyone can see when the next TIDAL WHISPERS goody will be released. :D

And for those of you following along or participating in the reading challenge, I’m still going strong! I’ve read 9 books of the 50 I committed to, which means I’m one book ahead of schedule. Awesome! 8-)

So, what about you, friends, how are your reading goals coming along? What do you think of an A to Z blogging challenge, does it sound like something you’d be interested in trying with me? I’d love to have a few of my favorites blogging along! :)

  1. Oh yay! I’m doing it too! How funny that I already have my “E” post too–my Erma Bombeck story I submitted to the contest. It didn’t win but it’s sort of cute so it’ll debut in April.

I’m writing out all of mine early too–already have most of A written.

      Hi Claire!

Whew, I need to start planning posts now, lol  :D And after checking the calendar versus the Tidal Whispers production schedule, I’ll have to come up with another entry for E, eep! :?

      I’m so glad you’re participating, too! :D

Oooh that challenge sounds like it could be find. I might have to try it!

      Jenny! :D

Oh yes! If you have time, please consider it. I think it’ll be something fun to try, and with so many other people doing it too, a great way to meet some fellow bloggers, too! 8-)

Hi! I followed your link from the challenge site. This is my second year of participating. I try to pick a dozen or two people to follow and try to get to know during the challenge — there’s no way to keep up with the more than 900 already signed up, of course, so it’s kind of catch-as-catch-can. I don’t have my posts planned out yet, but I have an overall theme (epic fantasy). As an added challenge, I’m doing these posts in addition to my regular posting.

I’m looking forward to reading your posts!

      Hi Erin! :D

That’s a brilliant idea – I was feeling a tad overwhelmed with the number of people participating, so I really like your idea for picking a few people to follow regularly. I think I’ll add you to that list, seeing as this’ll be your second go-around. ;)

Oh wow, I *LOVE* that you have a theme in place! Whew! I need to start planning some posts!

Thank you so much for stopping by to comment! Can’t wait to see how you implement your epic fantasy theme! Genius! :D 8-)
